Position Overview

We are seeking a committed Assistant Restaurant Manager to join us full-time, responsible for supervising and ensuring exceptional food service across all dining operations including breakfast, lunch, dinner, private events, afternoon tea, room service, and private dining in The Falls Restaurant and lounges.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee service standards during your shifts covering breakfast, lunch, dinner, room service, afternoon tea, and private dining events.
• Supervise and support supervisors and team members on duty, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.
• Manage stock levels and inventory for all relevant food and beverage items, particularly breakfast, lunch, lounge, and dinner supplies.
• Communicate effectively with staff, providing training for all aspects of food and beverage service and ensuring adherence to hygiene and safety protocols including HACCP guidelines.
• Foster excellent guest relations to enhance customer satisfaction and overall experience during your shifts.
• Collaborate closely with the Restaurant Manager, reporting on team and individual performance, and anticipate staffing needs based on bookings and occupancy.
• Support and coach team members, ensuring timely breaks as per hotel and legal regulations.
• Maintain the highest standards of hygiene, cleanliness, and operational excellence in compliance with legal and hotel policies.

Required Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of food and beverage operations and service.
• Prior experience in a 5-star hotel restaurant environment.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills, capable of engaging at all organisational levels.
• Proven track record in delivering superior customer service.
• Experience in staff training, development, and retention strategies.
• Fluency in English, both spoken and written.
• Legal permission to work in Ireland.

Preferred Qualifications

• Background in luxury hospitality, ideally within Relais & Châteaux properties.
• Demonstrated leadership and team management expertise.
• Flexibility to work shifts on a roster basis including weekends.
