Role Summary
The Assistant Outlet Manager supports and leads the all-day dining outlet to ensure a flawless service experience. This includes managing team collaboration, overseeing guest satisfaction, maintaining hygiene and safety standards, and assisting management with hiring, training, scheduling, and coaching staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Foster teamwork to deliver optimal guest service and ensure all staff meet grooming and attire standards.
- Manage opening and closing procedures, including preparation, cleaning, inventory checks, and securing facilities.
- Supervise storage organization, stock rotation (FIFO), and cleanliness.
- Monitor dining room capacity, guest safety, and ambience continuously.
- Initiate maintenance requests as needed.
- Assist in recruitment, training, performance evaluation, discipline, motivation, and coaching of team members.
- Serve as a role model and first point of contact for the Guarantee of Fair Treatment/Open Door Policy.
- Adhere to all company safety, security, and operational policies, reporting incidents promptly.
- Maintain personal appearance and confidentiality of company information.
- Greet guests warmly, anticipate requirements, assist persons with disabilities, and consistently deliver sincere appreciation.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with guests and colleagues.
- Build positive relationships within the team and contribute to achieving shared goals.
- Uphold quality standards and seek continuous improvements in efficiency, productivity, safety, and cost-effectiveness.
- Physically perform job duties including standing, walking, lifting items weighing up to 50 pounds, maneuvering in confined spaces, and other related tasks.
- Execute other reasonable duties as assigned by supervisors.
Preferred Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years in a related role.
- Supervisory Experience: At least 1 year managing teams.
- Licenses/Certifications: None required.
