About the role

This position supports the development and delivery of Piaget’s marketing direction across Australia and New Zealand. The goal is to translate the global brand strategy into a locally effective plan that strengthens Oceania sales and builds the Maison’s presence in the market.

The role sits in Sydney and contributes to brand growth across multiple touchpoints, including media, public relations, events, client engagement, visual merchandising, e-business, training, and digital activity.

Key responsibilities

You will work closely with regional and local stakeholders to shape, launch, and monitor marketing initiatives for the Australian and New Zealand markets.

  • Localize the global marketing plan for execution at a national level.
  • Build and roll out the marketing calendar covering media, PR, events, client initiatives, VM, e-business, training, and digital channels.
  • Coordinate with the Regional Marketing, Client, and Communications Director to plan and deliver campaigns and client activities.
  • Track progress regularly and manage spend in line with approvals from regional marketing leadership and the local Brand Director.
  • Support the planning of press launches with the Regional Marketing Director and define the most effective approach to maximize share of voice.
  • Lead public relations efforts for global campaigns and launches across the Oceania market.
  • Oversee the local PR agency to help meet PR performance targets.
  • Maintain strong relationships with editors, key opinion leaders, and other relevant influencers.
  • Work with publishers to secure strong coverage through both earned and paid opportunities.
  • Plan and deliver local brand events that improve visibility, brand image, and sales return across distribution channels.
  • Partner with the regional client team to identify target customers and supporting content for each initiative.
  • Identify aligned partner brands that can help support client acquisition efforts.
  • Execute in-boutique activations that meet local business needs while staying aligned with global brand guidelines, together with the Regional VM & Events Manager.
  • Coordinate boutique visual merchandising delivery for each seasonal activation.
  • Ensure store presentation elements meet Piaget’s quality expectations.
  • Manage seasonal floral execution for boutiques.
  • Work with the VM & Events Manager to extend the life of VM assets while keeping costs under control.
  • Implement Piaget’s digital marketing strategy for the market.
  • Plan and run multi-channel digital campaigns to support sales and brand awareness.
  • Brief and manage the media agency on a full-funnel, ROI-focused digital media plan aimed at increasing traffic, awareness, and sales.
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly digital performance reports covering sales, marketing analytics, channel updates, customer behavior, product results, conversion trends, promotional impact, and competitor and industry movements.

Requirements

  • Proven ability to manage projects directly as well as across teams and functions.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the confidence to represent the brand to partners and clients.
  • A collaborative, creative, and upbeat approach to work.
  • Good analytical ability to assess business performance and turn findings into marketing actions.
  • Well organized, adaptable, and comfortable handling multiple priorities at once.
  • Professional English is required; additional languages are an advantage.
  • Master’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • More than 3 years of management experience in the luxury goods sector.
  • Over 2 years of digital experience; experience launching e-commerce is considered a plus.
  • Background in marketing, with trade or retail marketing experience.

Interview process

The selection journey includes an initial application review, a call from the talent acquisition team if your profile matches, an in-person interview with the Managing Director for Oceania and the HR Manager, and then online discussions with regional and HQ teams if you move forward. Final progression depends on successful pre-employment checks.

About the culture

Piaget describes its culture as one driven by a mindset of doing better than required, with a sense of daring, shared joy, and freedom. The Sydney boutique is expanding, and the team is looking for someone ready to help push the Maison further in this market.
