About the Role

The Assistant Marketing Manager will play a vital role in aiding the design and implementation of marketing strategies aimed at boosting restaurant sales, enhancing brand visibility, and fostering strong customer connections. This position collaborates closely with restaurant operations and external collaborators to launch campaigns, oversee digital presence, promote menu offerings, and maintain consistent brand messaging across all platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in formulating and executing yearly and seasonal marketing strategies.
  • Generate and manage promotional campaigns tied to new menu introductions, festive seasons, and exclusive events.
  • Oversee local store marketing activities to drive customer visits and loyalty.
  • Help in the implementation of brand campaigns across multiple restaurant sites.
  • Handle social media channels by posting engaging content regularly.
  • Coordinate digital advertising initiatives on platforms including Google.
  • Monitor customer reviews online and collaborate with operations teams to improve guest experiences.
  • Support updates for websites, online ordering services, and mobile app promotions.
  • Ensure brand uniformity across marketing assets such as menus, signage, and digital content.
  • Coordinate the creation of promotional collateral like photos, videos, and other creative resources.
  • Maintain brand standards at all restaurant locations.
  • Collaborate with CRM systems, online delivery platforms, and marketing automation tools where applicable.
  • Work jointly with restaurant managers to implement sales-enhancing promotions.
  • Support loyalty and membership campaigns to retain customers.
  • Analyze sales trends surrounding marketing campaigns.
  • Track market trends, competitor actions, and customer preferences.
  • Conduct surveys and reviews to find improvement areas and suggest innovative ideas.
  • Help organize events such as food festivals, influencer partnerships, and community engagements.
  • Manage collaborations with delivery services, corporate partners, and local businesses.
  • Assist in sponsorship and public relations efforts.
  • Monitor marketing spending and ensure budget compliance.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related discipline.
  • Approximately 5–6 years of marketing experience, ideally within restaurant, hospitality, food & beverage, or retail sectors.
  • Strong grasp of digital marketing, social media management, and campaign delivery.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Creative aptitude for content conception and development.
  • Proficiency with digital advertising, email marketing, and analytics tools.
  • Solid organization and project management capabilities.
  • Capacity to perform effectively in fast-paced, customer-centric environments.
  • Willingness to work during weekends, holidays, or special events as needed.
  • Comfortable with Microsoft Office and marketing analytics platforms.

Preferred Qualifications and Attributes

  • Experience supporting multi-branch restaurants or cafe chains.
  • Certifications such as Google Ads, Google Analytics, Meta Blueprint, or HubSpot are a plus.
  • Familiarity with graphic design tools like Canva or Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Experience managing promotions on food delivery platforms and partnership coordination.
