Assistant Manager - Technical Business Analyst

Overview

We are looking for a meticulous Technical Business Analyst to join our team in Bengaluru. This role involves acting as the intermediary between business requirements and technical implementations, ensuring all solutions align with organizational objectives through detailed analysis and collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Engage with business stakeholders to gather and document comprehensive functional and non-functional requirements.
• Convert business requirements into clear technical specifications for developers and project teams.
• Develop supporting materials including user stories, use cases, process flowcharts, and wireframes.
• Coordinate closely with developers, testers, and project managers throughout all stages of the software development lifecycle.
• Perform feasibility studies and assess impacts of proposed changes or solutions.
• Assist in User Acceptance Testing by preparing cases and organizing testing efforts.
• Collaborate with technical teams to troubleshoot and resolve system issues.
• Support transparent communication across technical and business teams to ensure alignment.
• Document existing business processes, identify deficiencies, and suggest enhancements.
• Create clear and concise reports and presentations for stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Business Administration (with IT focus), or related disciplines.
• Minimum three years' experience as a Business Analyst in IT or technical environments.
• In-depth knowledge of software development lifecycle methodologies, especially Agile.
• Proficient in requirement gathering, analysis, and thorough documentation.
• Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence, SQL, and wireframing/prototyping software.
• Basic understanding of databases, API integrations, and system connectivity.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Analytical mindset with problem-solving skills and ability to work well within cross-functional teams.

Preferred Attributes

• Professional certifications including CBAP, PMI-PBA, or Agile Scrum Master.
• Experience with data visualization platforms like Power BI or Tableau.
• Knowledge of automated testing tools and methodologies.
