Role overview
This position is responsible for overseeing supply chain control-tower activity across several markets. The role keeps track of inventory health, service performance, logistics movement, and potential supply disruptions to maintain product availability and smooth operations. It serves as a key coordination hub connecting Planning, Logistics, Quality, Regulatory, Commercial, and Manufacturing teams.
Key responsibilities
- Continuously review supply chain performance and flag possible shortages, bottlenecks, or other supply-side risks in advance.
- Keep inventory, stock cover, and service levels within target ranges to avoid both stock-outs and unnecessary overstock.
- Work with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and implement mitigation actions when disruptions arise.
- Monitor, analyze, and present core supply chain metrics such as inventory, service levels, lead times, and shipment performance.
- Track inbound and outbound logistics flows and take action to speed up urgent deliveries whenever needed.
- Build recurring reports, dashboards, and leadership updates using ERP platforms and reporting software.
- Support process simplification, standardization, and automation efforts to improve supply chain outcomes.
- Contribute to business continuity planning and assist with regional supply chain initiatives.
Qualifications
A bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, Engineering, or a closely related field is required. The ideal candidate should have 5 to 8 years of experience in Supply Chain Operations, Planning, Control Tower, or Logistics.
Required skills and tools
The role calls for strong knowledge of inventory control, supply planning, logistics, and KPI reporting. Hands-on experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Kinaxis, or comparable platforms is important, along with advanced Microsoft Excel capability. The candidate should also be comfortable using analytics and reporting tools like Power BI.
