Key Responsibilities
- Help shape and execute the brand’s organic social strategy and creative direction across major platforms, especially Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook.
- Work closely with the social, brand marketing, and creative teams to build concepts, prepare briefs, and manage deliverables.
- Contribute to the content roadmap by creating monthly and quarterly plans, messaging, and assets that support marketing and business objectives.
- Build and support the content creator program, including creator selection, briefing, strategy, and relationship management.
- Develop social-first content ideas and coordinate with relevant teams to take concepts from initial idea through final delivery.
- Track social trends, competitor activity, and luxury/beauty developments to identify timely opportunities for the brand.
- Find creators and partners who can produce assets for Hourglass channels, while managing briefs, approvals, and deliverables.
- Review performance data and create regular reports, recommendations, and platform-specific best practices for internal and external partners.
- Coordinate with the editorial team to write social copy tailored to each asset.
- Partner with influencer marketing on branded campaigns and help identify creators for paid collaborations.
- Maintain a repository of externally produced assets that align with brand standards and can be reused across owned channels.
- Oversee publishing and community engagement to help grow audience interaction and social communities.
- Support internal social photo/video shoots with briefs, call sheets, and product ordering.
What Success in This Role Requires
- Strong organization and the ability to handle multiple priorities at once.
- Careful attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Clear communication skills and a collaborative working style.
- Flexibility to adapt quickly when priorities, deadlines, or needs change.
- Strong enthusiasm for beauty, media, and events, with a willingness to take on any task as needed.
Qualifications
- At least 2 years of experience in social media or marketing.
- Background in building and managing monthly content calendars for Instagram and TikTok.
- Working knowledge of current design requirements and platform best practices for Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and YouTube.
- Experience with social management and analytics platforms such as Dash Hudson and Meltwater.
- Ability to use data and reporting to shape content strategy.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Consistently high standards for quality and execution.
- Must be able to work from the corporate office at least 60% of the time.
Compensation and Benefits
The expected base pay for this position is USD 80,000 to USD 85,000 per year. Final compensation will depend on experience, skills, education, location, and budget.
