Job description
Role Overview
This position supports sales and business development across the GCC region and Egypt. Responsibilities include managing client relationships, executing sales strategies, assisting with merchandising and distribution, and enhancing brand visibility and market share.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement sales and business development plans to meet regional targets.
- Conduct thorough market research and competitor analysis to uncover growth prospects.
- Identify potential new retail outlets or partners aligned with the brand's image.
- Coordinate with clients and retail partners to ensure effective brand presentation and product availability.
- Monitor inventory levels and aid in replenishment management within assigned areas.
- Collaborate with teams to meet merchandising and promotional standards.
- Assist in planning visual merchandising initiatives and securing store brand visibility.
- Contribute to sales reporting, performance evaluations, and market analytics.
- Work cross-functionally with marketing, logistics, and finance teams to facilitate smooth sales operations.
- Support training sessions for retail staff and share brand/product knowledge.
- Travel throughout GCC and Egypt for store visits, partner meetings, and follow-ups.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business, marketing, or related fields; MBA from reputed institute preferred.
- 4 to 5 years of experience in sales, distribution, or business development within sectors like Eyewear, Beauty (Perfumes/Cosmetics), Pharmaceuticals, FMCG, or related industries.
- Experience in UAE/GCC markets is essential.
- Arabic language proficiency (spoken and written) is advantageous.
- Excellent communication, coordination, and relationship management skills.
- Strong knowledge of merchandising and retail processes.
- Detail-oriented, well-organized, with strong multitasking abilities.
- Possession of a valid UAE driving license.
- Willingness to travel frequently across the GCC and Egypt.
