Assistant Manager - PNG Projects

Role Overview

The Assistant Manager for PNG Projects will oversee planning and delivery of PNG pipeline installation work, with responsibility for schedule control, budget adherence, and quality compliance. The role involves working across functions to shape PNG solutions for industrial, commercial, and residential use cases, while also supporting larger strategic initiatives led by the GA Head.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end planning, execution, and monitoring of PNG pipeline installation projects so they remain on track for time, cost, and quality targets.
• Work with multiple internal teams to design and roll out PNG systems suited to industrial, commercial, and residential needs.
• Carry out site assessments and technical feasibility checks to define project scope and identify execution requirements.
• Manage manpower, materials, and equipment efficiently to maximize resource use during project delivery.
• Implement and oversee safety practices throughout all stages of PNG system development and installation.
• Offer technical assistance and resolve issues in operational PNG systems to help maintain uninterrupted service.
• Liaise with vendors and contractors to source reliable materials and services required for PNG projects.
• Use project management tools to measure progress, prepare status reports, and keep stakeholders informed.
• Assist the GA Head with planning and decision-making for PNG-focused initiatives.
• Keep abreast of industry developments, new technologies, and current best practices to improve efficiency and service quality.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related discipline is required.
• Applicants should have 4 to 7 years of experience in project management in the gas distribution or energy industry.
• Strong practical knowledge of PNG system design, installation, and maintenance is expected.
