Location: Mumbai - Vikhroli, Mumbai, Maharashtra, India.

Key responsibilities

Take ownership of end-to-end new product development across private label brands, starting from ideation and continuing through launch.

Manage timelines, milestones, and delivery across formulation, packaging, artwork, production, and launch preparedness.

Work with R&D, packaging suppliers, design partners, supply chain, legal, category, and marketing teams to keep execution on track.

Coordinate with internal and external formulation partners to align products with cost targets and brand expectations.

Assess textures, fragrance, performance, efficacy, and sample quality against the intended product claims.

Handle sample review, testing, approvals, vendor visits, and pre-production sample sign-off.

Source, assess, and validate primary and secondary packaging options that fit target cost structures.

Run filled checks, compatibility studies, leakage testing, and transit validation to confirm packaging performance.

Manage packaging sampling, online proofing, and final approvals with vendors.

Write consumer-friendly on-pack communication, claims, ingredient details, and product copy.

Coordinate artwork creation and revision cycles with designers and agencies on a daily basis.

Conduct legal and regulatory reviews to ensure all artwork and claims comply with applicable rules.

Check artwork sizes, print-ready files, and digital proofs before sign-off.

Oversee final release of artwork after all validations are complete.

Review product, formulation, and packaging costs and support commercial decision-making.

Obtain approvals from internal stakeholders such as private label managers and category teams.

Create EAN codes and maintain SKU masters in internal systems.

Keep product data accurate to support smooth operational execution and launch readiness.

Review bromides, print proofs, and color accuracy before production approval.

Approve multiple artworks and print proofs across brands on a daily basis while maintaining consistency and quality.

Track pilot and bulk batches to ensure production matches approved standards.

Coordinate inward testing, stock inwarding, and warehouse readiness for launch.

Resolve product quality and packaging issues quickly within tight turnaround times.

Support go-live activities for SKUs across the platform and coordinate listing and operational completion before launch.

Monitor ratings, reviews, and post-launch feedback to identify recurring product or packaging issues.

Drive corrective actions and support improvements or revamps for existing SKUs.

Work toward strong consumer satisfaction and a target product rating above 4.2.

Requirements

Strong attention to detail and the ability to carry out careful quality checks.

Proven ability to manage stakeholders and coordinate with vendors effectively.

Comfort with fast-paced environments and multiple launches running in parallel.

Solid project management and delivery skills.

Clear communication and dependable follow-up habits.

Ability to think creatively while still maintaining strong operational discipline.

Self-motivated, proactive, and solution-oriented working style.

Understanding of beauty or personal care product development is preferred.

Added advantage: a strong ability to write crisp, consumer-focused packaging claims and communication.
