Assistant Manager / Manager, Professional Capability Development Department (1-year contract)

Role overview

ACRA is seeking a motivated and energetic professional to support the Institute of Valuers and Appraisers, Singapore (IVAS) in its outreach work. The role contributes to advancing professional standards in business valuation and helping Singapore grow as a centre of excellence in this field. Within the Professional Capability Development Department, the position focuses on member and stakeholder engagement, promotion of the Chartered Valuer and Appraiser (CVA) programme and designation, and related professional development efforts.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and carry out outreach programmes such as conferences, webinars, and workshops to connect with stakeholders in Singapore and across the region.
• Create publicity and engagement collaterals, including EDMs, social media content, presentations, and similar materials.
• Keep outreach records current by maintaining databases, logging responses and interest levels, and tracking follow-up actions with prospective stakeholders.
• Review outreach results, study performance data, and prepare reports on the outcomes of engagement activities.
• Handle routine communication with stakeholders, including IVAS members, training partners, and regional contacts.
• Provide support for other outreach-related projects and initiatives when required.

Requirements

• A professional qualification in marketing, communications, business, or a closely related discipline.
• A positive, resilient attitude and comfort with work that may be broad or not strictly fixed in scope.
• A proactive and resourceful mindset with the ability to drive tasks forward independently.
• Strong written and spoken communication skills, along with solid interpersonal abilities.
