Key Responsibilities
- Manage litigation processes from start to resolution, covering civil, criminal, arbitration, trademark, and insecticide-related cases.
- Prepare various legal documents such as contracts, agreements, pleadings, motions, briefs, and policies with precision and compliance to legal standards.
- Evaluate legal risks, devise litigation strategies, and offer advice to stakeholders regarding possible outcomes and risk mitigation.
- Lead and mentor legal teams to achieve optimal performance aligned with organizational goals.
- Negotiate effectively and advocate persuasively to resolve disputes favorably for the company.
- Implement compliance programs, conduct risk assessments, and ensure adherence to regulatory frameworks.
- Develop tailored litigation strategies to minimize risk while meeting client objectives.
- Oversee multiple litigation cases, managing budgets, timelines, and external legal counsel.
- Conduct comprehensive legal research to support litigation approaches and legal opinions.
Qualifications and Experience
- Possess a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) degree.
- Have 6–8 years of experience in the corporate legal sector, with 5–7 years specifically in similar roles.
- Familiarity with case management and document management software is required.
