About the Role

The Assistant Store Manager position at Autobarn offers a dynamic leadership chance for individuals aiming to advance or begin their journey in automotive retail. This role involves collaborating closely with the Store Manager to oversee daily operations, boost sales, and foster a customer-centric team committed to excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain a secure, welcoming, and efficiently managed store atmosphere.
• Enhance sales by promoting products, encouraging upsells, and achieving targets.
• Provide expert advice on automotive parts and accessories to customers.
• Lead, inspire, and develop floor staff through coaching and motivation.
• Support inventory processes, including stock management and accepting deliveries.
• Assist the Store Manager with everyday operational leadership tasks.
• Assume full store responsibility when the Store Manager is unavailable.

Candidate Profile

• Proven experience in retail leadership or assistant management roles.
• Exceptional customer service abilities with a track record of meeting sales goals and KPIs.
• Competent in team coaching and motivational techniques.
• Familiarity with inventory and stock control procedures.
• Prior exposure to the retail or automotive sectors is beneficial though not mandatory.
• A proactive, hands-on approach combined with eagerness to learn continuously.
