Job description
About the company
Almosafer Travel & Tourism Co. is a major travel business in Saudi Arabia with a broad role across the travel and tourism ecosystem. The company aims to make travel smoother, more personal, and more meaningful through services and platforms shaped around the needs of the Kingdom and the wider region.
The organization is driven by a long-term ambition to become the clear leader in travel services, build durable relationships, and raise the standard of excellence in Saudi Arabia and beyond. Its teams combine local insight with an innovative mindset to help define the next chapter of travel in the region.
About the role
This position sits at the center of financial planning and analysis and will lead the budgeting process. It plays an important part in evolving FP&A into a strategic function that supports IPO readiness. The role involves developing the five-year business plan, overseeing rolling forecast governance, and ensuring financial models are built on business drivers and suitable for investor and advisor review. The focus is on turning financial data into a decision-making engine for leadership.
Responsibilities
Budgeting and rolling forecast governance
- Drive the annual budgeting process through three stages: preparation, top-down planning, and deep-dive review.
- Own and maintain a central dynamic three-statement financial model, ensuring the budget is fully driver-based and aligned with the business plan.
- Manage the quarterly official forecasting cycles.
- Create clear schedules and templates for Finance Business Partners and capture learnings to steadily improve forecast quality.
IPO business plan and due diligence
- Maintain a dynamic, assumption-led five-year business plan that is prepared for IPO review and capable of advanced sensitivity and scenario analysis.
- Support IPO due diligence as the technical finance lead by providing reconciled, accurate, advisor-ready financial information that can be validated by external stakeholders.
Performance intelligence and variance analysis
- Conduct detailed weekly and monthly variance reviews against budget and forecast, and identify the operational reasons behind performance changes.
- Develop a monthly performance intelligence pack that combines profit and loss, cash flow, and balance sheet views for both overall business health and deeper operational analysis.
- Help build a central financial data set that acts as the single source of truth for corporate finance reporting.
Process improvement and digitalization
- Improve and standardize the budget cycle by creating structured templates that allow Finance Business Partner inputs to roll up cleanly into consolidated outputs.
- Lead the move toward digital management reporting using Tableau and help progress toward AI-supported variance commentary and predictive analytics.
Requirements
- 5 to 7 years of experience in FP&A or corporate finance, with demonstrated strength in complex financial modeling.
- A bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting is required; CFA, CMA, or CPA qualifications are strongly preferred.
- Advanced Excel skills and the ability to build integrated three-statement models are essential. Experience with Tableau and ERP platforms such as SAP is also required.
- Ability to challenge assumptions constructively while partnering closely with Finance Business Partners to keep budget inputs realistic.
- Comfort working under tight deadlines without compromising reporting accuracy.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to translate complex financial bridges such as price, mix, and volume into clear executive-level insights.
What the company values
Almosafer emphasizes purposeful work, clarity, accountability, trust, and collaboration. The company also supports learning, celebrates achievements, and provides room for meaningful contribution from the first day. Team members are encouraged to grow, connect, and make a real impact in a workplace built around shared momentum.
