About the Role and Company

Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee daily activities of the Data Conversion team, including Data Conversion Specialists, Quality Analysts, and Operators, to ensure smooth operations.
- Delegate tasks considering project priorities, individual skills, and workload to maximize team efficiency.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations, set key performance indicators and service level agreements, and manage improvement strategies when needed.
- Design and implement training programs for new employees on specialized conversion tools.
- Ensure all projects comply with client SLAs, maintaining turnaround times and accuracy levels typically at 99% or higher.
- Establish comprehensive quality assurance frameworks to detect issues such as structural errors, encoding problems, or missing data early in processing.
- Address and resolve technical challenges, data inconsistencies, or corrupted files raised by team members.
- Optimize workflows by reviewing current data conversion processes and identifying opportunities for automation.
- Collaborate with leadership and team members to identify process gaps and propose change requests for tool development and bug fixes.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Statistics, Business Information Systems, or similar fields.
- 6 to 8 years of practical experience in data processing and conversion, preferably within publishing or digitization industries.
- At least 2 to 3 years in leadership roles managing teams of 10 to 12 or more personnel.
Technical Skills
- Advanced knowledge of data structures, including XML, JSON, CSV, and relational database schemas.
- Proficiency in data analytics for interpreting trends, error patterns, and compiling executive-level reports.
- Strong communication skills for technical writing, interdepartmental collaboration, and reporting to management.
