Job description

Role overview

This position supports the end-to-end delivery of landscape architecture work, from early planning and concept development through documentation and construction support. The role focuses on turning site knowledge and stakeholder input into outdoor spaces that are practical to build, visually strong, and environmentally responsible.

Key responsibilities

  • Contribute to landscape projects from the earliest concept stage through schematic design, detailed design development, and final construction drawings.
  • Attend and represent the team in discussions with stakeholders, contractors, consultants, and other project participants.
  • Help drive project coordination, progress design work, and solve site-related issues as they arise.
  • Develop compelling presentation materials, including 3D models and visual renderings, using tools such as Lumion, 3ds Max, SketchUp, Rhino, and similar software to clearly explain design intent.
  • Work closely with internal colleagues to maintain design quality, technical accuracy, and timely delivery against project schedules.
  • Manage multiple assignments at the same time while staying organised and meeting deadlines consistently.
  • Review drawings and specifications carefully to maintain quality standards and to identify and resolve documentation issues.
  • Carry out site studies and market research to support design decisions, including site visits, assessment of constraints and opportunities, user and visitor profiling, competitor review, and preparation of clear findings and recommendations for planning and stakeholder use.

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree in landscape architecture is required.
  • At least 2 years of professional experience, with evidence of strong design quality and the ability to work independently.
  • Strong command of 3D visualisation and modelling tools such as SketchUp, Lumion, Rhino, and 3ds Max, along with practical knowledge of AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and Revit.
  • Proven ability to engage stakeholders, communicate effectively with consultants and clients, and manage coordination while resolving technical and design issues.
  • Excellent design judgement, strong communication skills, solid organisation, and high professional responsibility.
  • Ability to produce freehand sketches, renderings, advanced visualisations, and digital graphics.
  • A collaborative mindset and the ability to contribute in multidisciplinary teams.
  • Holding a Class 2B or Class 3 driving licence is preferred.
