Role Overview

This role, based in the United States, involves serving as an Assistant Director and Product Manager responsible for leading the creation and ongoing enhancement of innovative, data-focused products aimed at solving complex business challenges. Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the entire product development process for specific areas, ensuring alignment of business goals with technical requirements to produce impactful solutions.
  • Lead product discovery efforts, establish clear requirements, prioritize features, oversee software releases, and guide subsequent enhancements to maximize value for customers and business.
  • Develop and maintain product roadmaps that reflect strategic objectives; adjust and prioritize product backlogs based on impact assessments, customer feedback, and technical workload.
  • Prepare comprehensive product documentation, such as detailed user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional specifications for both technical and business stakeholders.
  • Analyze product performance data and key metrics to inform prioritization and enable ongoing product improvements.
  • Implement Agile product management methodologies including sprint planning, backlog grooming, daily standups, retrospectives, and maintain transparent communication with stakeholders.
  • Conduct user research and product validation testing to ensure solutions meet customer needs effectively.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable products while managing risks, dependencies, deadlines, and expectations proactively.
  • Support responsible integration and adoption of AI technologies to enhance product features and operational efficiencies.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of a Bachelor's degree is required; a relevant Master's degree is preferred depending on the product domain.
  • 6 to 8 years of proven product management experience leading products or major features from conception through launch and continuous refinement.
  • Demonstrated expertise in managing complete product life cycles, including requirements gathering, prioritization, roadmap development, release scheduling, and ongoing improvements.
  • Proficiency in writing detailed product requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and other documentation tailored to diverse audiences.
  • Solid understanding and application of Agile frameworks, backlog management, sprint planning, and governance over product lifecycles.
  • Strong analytical capabilities and data-driven decision-making skills, including defining and tracking relevant product success metrics.
  • Technical knowledge to collaborate on architecture, infrastructure decisions, system integrations, and technical trade-offs.
  • Hands-on experience leveraging AI tools to enhance workflows, address business challenges, and improve productivity, alongside familiarity with responsible AI practices.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills including communication, collaboration, stakeholder management, problem-solving, and organizational abilities to manage multiple priorities effectively.
