Job description
Role Overview
We are seeking an Assistant Director in Procurement for a two-year contract position at the Monetary Authority of Singapore. The role involves working closely with internal stakeholders to support and guide procurement activities in compliance with organizational policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide guidance and support to stakeholders on procurement strategies and compliance with procurement policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with internal teams and suppliers to facilitate sourcing outcomes such as quotations, tenders, and clarifications.
- Evaluate and enhance work processes to improve efficiency, including development and refinement of templates, trackers, and standard operating procedures.
- Maintain procurement documentation and records accurately to ensure completeness and proper filing, including approval records and supporting procurement documents.
- Manage the procurement lifecycle from sourcing through to award, coordinating evaluations, internal clearances, and drafting submission write-ups.
- Contribute to other team initiatives such as policy and process reviews, knowledge management, and business continuity planning.

- Strong analytical and organizational skills coupled with a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, adept at engaging with internal stakeholders and suppliers.
- Capability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines while maintaining meticulous documentation and records.
- Comfortable handling data, maintaining trackers, and performing basic analyses to support reporting and process improvements.
- Preferably has relevant procurement experience, though candidates with a strong learning aptitude are encouraged to apply.
- Advantageous experience includes government procurement, process management, or data management and analysis.
