Job description

Position Overview

Join the passionate and dynamic Chocolate division at Nestlé as an Assistant Brand Manager, working primarily with leading products such as KitKat. This role involves steering cross-functional teams to accomplish key projects aimed at driving business growth. Reporting to the Senior Brand Manager for KitKat, you will manage the entire marketing lifecycle for the brand.

Typical Responsibilities

  • Participate in local innovation planning focused on chocolate brands, especially KitKat.
  • Lead innovation projects end-to-end by coordinating with multiple cross-functional teams to transform concepts into reality.
  • Support development and rollout of media and digital campaigns, including preparing agency briefs.
  • Manage brand activations and events both internally and externally.
  • Collaborate with the Digital Manager to plan and execute social media content for KitKat.
  • Maintain relationships with various agencies such as packaging and creative firms as well as key internal departments including Sales, Category Management, Insights, and Supply Chain.
  • Help oversee a significant marketing budget alongside the brand team.
  • Contribute to cultivating a high-performing, enjoyable, and inclusive culture within the Confectionery Marketing Team.

Candidate Profile

  • Proven expertise in strategic analysis coupled with robust project management skills within the FMCG sector.
  • Ability to influence across diverse and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement growth-driven strategies.
  • Experience in new product development (NPD) processes and close collaboration with Insights teams.
  • Exceptional attention to detail complemented by a proactive and positive work ethic.
  • Applicants must hold permanent residency or full employment rights to work in Australia.
