Asset Protection Representative

What you will do

• Maintain a visible, professional presence in the store to discourage theft, fraud, and breaches of company policy.
• Lawfully and safely detain offenders while following company procedures and applicable legal requirements.
• Carry out internal and external investigations, collect and review evidence, and coordinate with law enforcement when needed.
• Work with store leadership to identify shrink patterns and put prevention measures in place.
• Support compliance with company standards, security expectations, and provincial rules.
• Adapt to a dynamic retail setting and manage a flexible schedule with agility.

What you should bring

• A valid provincial security guard licence.
• Knowledge of the Criminal Code of Canada, the Trespass to Property Act, and related laws.
• Experience using CCTV, surveillance equipment, and Microsoft Office applications such as Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• A confident, approachable, and respectful communication style.
• Strong integrity, dependability, initiative, and problem-solving ability.
• Previous exposure to grocery, pharmacy, or other high-volume retail environments is considered an advantage.
