Position Overview
We are looking to hire an Asset Coordinator based in Christchurch to assist in managing major solar and infrastructure projects spanning Australia and New Zealand. This role suits either a seasoned Asset Coordinator ready to oversee a varied asset portfolio or an experienced administrator with excellent organizational talents eager to transition into asset management.
Key Duties
- Maintain precise asset registers, ensuring that fleet, plant, equipment, and IT assets are correctly documented within business platforms such as Procore and SharePoint.
- Manage the procurement, hiring, allocation, and return processes of assets across numerous projects.
- Support ongoing inventory management, including physical stocktakes and reconciliation with system records.
- Coordinate with suppliers, contractors, and project teams to guarantee timely availability and delivery of equipment.
- Provide assistance in asset reporting, cost tracking, and procurement administration tasks.
- Assist with project mobilisation and logistics to facilitate efficient equipment delivery.
Candidate Profile
- Experience in asset coordination, procurement, logistics, or operational support, preferably within energy, construction, or infrastructure sectors.
- Alternatively, a minimum of five years in administrative roles demonstrating strong coordination, system management, and stakeholder communication skills, with readiness to advance into asset management.
- Proficient in using Excel or Google Sheets for data analysis, maintenance, and reporting related to asset management.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills, dedicated to maintaining accuracy in data and records.
- Strong communicator able to foster effective relationships internally and with external suppliers and project stakeholders.
- Proactive and capable of juggling multiple priorities in a dynamic project environment.
