Assembly Technician Composites

Role Overview

This position involves specialized tasks in composite lamination, including prepreg, lay-up, wet lamination, and vacuum infusion, all performed according to detailed engineering plans and specifications. The technician will be responsible for precision trimming, sanding, filling, and fairing using both power tools and manual measurements as necessary.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute all composite lamination operations strictly following engineering drawings and procedures.
• Perform surface finishing activities such as sanding, filling, and trimming using both power and hand tools.
• Utilize workshop machinery and hand tools safely and effectively to aid the production process.
• Carry out bonding, test fitting, fine adjustments, and problem-solving for complex composite assemblies during the prototyping stage.
• Maintain tools and workstation cleanliness, adhering to safety and housekeeping norms consistently.
• Set up, operate, clean, and carry out maintenance on equipment according to established operating guidelines.
• Keep accurate records of assembly documentation, inspections, and feedback reports.
• Contribute to the integration and testing of composite assemblies along with electrical or hydraulic components when required.

Candidate Experience

• Applicants must have at least three years of experience working as a technician in composites production environments.
• Previous work experience in the UAE or broader Middle East region is advantageous.
