Job description

Overview

We are seeking an Art Director for a partner company that oversees the application process and all subsequent hiring steps. The role is open to candidates based in Spain.

This opportunity focuses on developing distinctive, high-impact creative work for fast-paced restaurant and retail clients. You will turn marketing objectives into clear visual ideas and polished creative assets across branding, campaigns, social media, and other digital channels. The position combines strategic thinking with hands-on design delivery, with responsibility for projects from early concepts through final production. You will work closely with designers, copywriters, and strategists in a highly collaborative environment where feedback, speed, and quality all matter. The role is remote-friendly and suits someone who brings strong creative judgment, independence, and awareness of different cultural contexts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create and develop bold creative directions for branding, campaign, social, and multi-channel marketing work.
  • Transform marketing plans and audience insights into visual frameworks, sketches, storyboards, and finished creative assets.
  • Own projects end to end, ensuring consistency, craftsmanship, and on-brand execution at every stage.
  • Confidently share creative ideas and design approaches with internal stakeholders and clients, while responding constructively to feedback.
  • Partner with designers, writers, and strategists to sharpen concepts and expand creative possibilities.
  • Stay informed on cultural shifts, advertising trends, and format-specific creative needs across platforms.
  • Take part in ideation sessions and help raise the overall quality of the team’s creative output.

Requirements

  • 3 to 6 years of experience in advertising, creative agencies, or brand-centered design roles.
  • Strong conceptual ability and advanced visual design skills, supported by a strong portfolio.
  • Excellent command of Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and similar tools.
  • Ability to use AI-powered tools to support ideation, refinement, and creative production.
  • Strong time management and prioritization skills, with the ability to deliver under tight deadlines.
  • Clear communication and presentation skills, including the ability to explain creative decisions effectively.
  • Comfort working independently in a distributed, remote-friendly setup.
  • Strong teamwork and brainstorming skills in cross-functional environments.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a practical, solution-oriented mindset.

Benefits

  • Competitive pay based on experience and creative expertise.
  • Fully remote, distributed work setup with flexibility in location.
  • Chance to lead visible creative projects for fast-growing brands.
  • Collaborative culture that values feedback, experimentation, and ownership.
  • Exposure to a wide range of branding, social, digital, and campaign work.
  • High autonomy with limited bureaucracy and a strong focus on quality output.
  • Opportunity to work with international teams in a fast-moving creative consultancy environment.
  • Ongoing learning through practical experience in modern advertising and AI-supported workflows.
