Product/UX Designer

Role overview

We are looking for a freelance product designer who is excited about creating meaningful digital experiences at the crossroads of technology and real estate. In this remote contract role, you will help shape products that make property transactions easier to understand, increase transparency, and improve workflow efficiency within the PropTech space.

What you will do

• Own the design journey end to end, starting with research and wireframes and moving through to polished, high-fidelity interfaces.
• Partner with product and engineering stakeholders to turn business needs into practical, high-impact design solutions.
• Carry out user interviews and usability testing to ensure the final experience reflects real user needs.
• Help build, improve, and maintain a design system that supports consistency and accessibility across products.
• Run and contribute to workshops, design critiques, and review sessions that raise the quality of design work.
• Keep communication clear and consistent with internal teams and clients at each stage of the project.

Experience and skills needed

You should bring at least 5 years of product design experience along with a portfolio that demonstrates strong work. Experience in PropTech, Real Estate, or FinTech is an important advantage. You should be comfortable using Figma, and knowledge of Sketch, Canva, or Adobe Creative Suite will be helpful. Familiarity with prototyping tools such as Protopie or Framer is also preferred. A strong analytical approach is needed to interpret research findings and product data.
