The position requires direct interaction with clients, product walkthroughs, conversations around meter functionality, and revenue growth through lead creation and conversion. The right candidate should understand meter integration at a practical level, have a grasp of basic finance concepts, and bring strong communication, presentation, and selling abilities.
Key responsibilities
- Demonstrate the product to prospects and clearly explain its features, advantages, and business value.
- Meet committee members of housing societies and apartment associations to understand their needs and recommend appropriate solutions for both meter-based and non-meter-based projects.
- Keep precise and up-to-date records of leads, meetings, and sales referrals.
- Regularly visit clients and handle routine questions and issues quickly.
- Work with external partners, including meter channel partners, to support the integration of new projects.
- Partner with sales and service teams to maintain smooth operations and contribute to SOP development.
- Coordinate internally across Pan India and also manage communication with vendors and channel partners.
- Take full ownership of the assigned region and handle Pan India projects effectively.
Candidate profile
The employer is looking for someone with 3 to 5 years of sales experience, ideally in meter projects on the client side and in software products. A background in finance, such as a BAF degree, is preferred. The role calls for familiarity with ERP systems, a working understanding of meter-company operations, and basic technical knowledge including API integration and meter-related fundamentals. Interest in business development for software or application-based B2C solutions is important, along with a high-energy, articulate, and goal-oriented approach. Strong presentation and negotiation abilities are essential, and the candidate should be comfortable using Tally and MS Office.
