About the role
This position is responsible for driving retail revenue across PUMA India’s stores in the northern region by keeping front-end operations running smoothly across both full-price and factory outlet locations. The role also focuses on strengthening store performance, supporting growth initiatives, and leading store managers through recruitment, training, and day-to-day supervision.
Key responsibilities
- Support revenue growth for PUMA India by overseeing efficient front-end operations across the assigned region.
- Drive expansion and performance across retail stores in the territory.
- Plan and execute store-level initiatives, promotions, and events.
- Hire and train store managers, working with Regional HR where needed.
- Maintain strong customer service standards at the front end.
- Ensure store operations run effectively and contribute to revenue delivery.
- Make sure stores are staffed with the appropriate number of people in the right roles.
- Stay current on competitor products, pricing, distribution patterns, retail tools, and market trends.
- Identify opportunities to improve business strategy, customer experience, and return on investment.
- Search for new property options that could support business development in the region.
- Ensure each store has the inventory levels required for smooth operation.
- Lead, guide, and oversee store managers to improve performance.
- Manage discounting, rollout of store programs, and promotional activities.
- Engage with institutional coordinators in the region for merchandise tie-ups and event planning.

Working relationships
This role works closely with internal teams such as Projects, IT, Marketing, Strategy, Retail, Finance, and HR. Externally, it interacts with schools, institutes, fitness channels, store managers, transporters, and local management.
Eligibility and requirements
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales, management, or both.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, finance, or a related discipline.
- Willingness to travel up to 75% of the time.
- Good analytical and problem-solving ability.
- Demonstrated history of consistently meeting sales targets.
