Area Manager – Q-Commerce Dark Stores

Opportunity Overview

Embark on a dynamic role as an Area Manager supervising operations across three bustling dark stores for a fast-paced, tech-driven Q-Commerce company in Lusail, Qatar. You will be accountable for flawless execution in-store, maintaining precise inventory, and accelerating order processing to ensure swift handoffs to delivery riders, all while leading a large team.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and optimize real-time order fulfillment metrics including picking and packing times across the three stores.
• Streamline the order handoff process to reduce delays and minimize waiting periods for delivery personnel.
• Implement and uphold 6S workplace standards (Sort, Set in order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain, Safety) to enhance efficiency and safety.
• Maintain impeccable organization and cleanliness within the stores to support high-speed operations.
• Manage end-to-end inventory accuracy, ensuring synchronization between physical stock and online systems with 99.9% precision.
• Coordinate with the supply chain team to prevent stock shortages and oversee the timely replenishment of inventory.
• Lead, motivate, and develop a sizable workforce of approximately 100 staff members including store leads, pickers, packers, and inventory clerks.
• Plan workforce schedules and optimize labor deployment to meet peak operational demands.

Candidate Profile

• Minimum 3 years of multi-location management experience within Q-Commerce, e-commerce fulfillment, or dark store environments.
• Demonstrated capability managing large teams of 50 to 100+ employees.
• Proficiency with warehouse management systems, live tracking dashboards, and data-driven operational tools.
• Highly organized, capable of decisive decision-making under stress, and a skilled communicator able to inspire a diverse operational team.
