Job Overview
Popli Design Group (PDG), a multidisciplinary Architecture and Engineering firm with long-standing experience since 1982, is looking for a motivated Architectural Designer to strengthen its Architectural Team. The candidate will contribute to creating presentation materials, 3D models, renderings, drafting, and construction documents under senior architectural staff guidance. This role also involves supporting construction administration and site evaluation tasks as required.
Primary Duties
- Support development and execution of architectural projects with attention to detail and efficiency.
- Apply architectural methods and standards to complete assignments accurately.
- Prepare necessary reports and project specifications.
- Develop segments of the overall project documentation.
- Conduct product and project research and development activities.
- Receive direction on complex challenges and oversee specific responsibilities.
- Proactively identify safety concerns and practice safe work habits.
- Assist with managing scope of work within hourly budgets.
- Collaborate effectively within the team by sharing information and adapting to diverse work styles.
- Communicate with clients, supported by senior colleagues.
Qualifications and Skills
- Basic knowledge of industry codes and architectural standards.
- Capability to review work quality before release.
- General awareness of project budgeting and cost implications.
- Strong communication skills across oral, written, email, and phone mediums.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, Microsoft Office Suite, and Bluebeam software.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture.
- 3 to 5 years of relevant professional experience.
- Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
