About Pencil Projects Architecture Studio
Pencil Projects Architecture Studio is a women-led, community-oriented architectural firm based in New Rochelle, New York. We focus on residential, commercial, and community projects throughout Westchester County, delivering innovative designs that transform existing structures with creativity, technical skill, and meticulous attention.
Key Responsibilities
- Create architectural drawings and permit documentation utilizing AutoCAD
- Develop design concepts and create presentations for clients
- Collaborate closely with clients, consultants, and local governmental bodies
- Conduct field measurements and on-site visits to support design accuracy
- Support construction administration duties including handling RFIs and submittals
- Oversee projects from initial design stages through construction completion
Qualifications
- Possess a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture
- Preferably 2 to 3 years of relevant professional experience
- Advanced skills in AutoCAD and preparing construction documents
- Strong communication abilities and organizational skills
- Knowledge of New York building codes and permitting processes is advantageous
