Overview
Nova Ltd., a leading global provider of cutting-edge metrology solutions for semiconductor process control, is seeking an Application Specialist to join their team in Singapore. The company, with a workforce of approximately 1200 across three R&D centers and 27 field offices, integrates disciplines including physics, optics, chemistry, and algorithms to innovate hardware and software that measures advanced computer chips at the atomic level.
Key Responsibilities
- Offer on-site application support for SIMS and XPS systems as well as metrology solutions, assisting end users in CMP, CVD, Lithography, Etch processes, and Metrology groups (TD and HVM).
- Develop and maintain strong technical relationships and effective communication channels with customers to thoroughly understand their processes and challenges.
- Stay informed on semiconductor industry developments, trends, and forthcoming changes.
- Keep current with new metrology applications and product offerings by remaining involved in their evolution.
- Conduct pre-sale demonstrations and customer presentations to showcase products and solutions.
- Contribute to the development of new and existing applications through close coordination with the LTD group and other subsidiaries.
- Provide sales support and relevant information to the marketing team to aid in promotional activities.
Candidate Requirements
- Possess MSc, PhD, or Master’s degree in Physics, Material Science Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related Material Science field.
- Demonstrated understanding of semiconductor processes.
- Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
- Excellent communication skills to engage with customers and internal teams effectively.
- Preparedness to travel internationally (~20% travel) for training sessions (including up to two months of initial basic training) and to support global operations.
- Strong analytical capabilities alongside the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
