Job description
Role Summary
We are seeking a skilled Appian Developer with 3-5 years of IT experience, including at least 3 years specializing in Appian development. Candidates must hold an Appian L2 (Senior Developer) certification. The role involves end-to-end participation in the software development lifecycle, from gathering requirements to deployment, and providing support in user acceptance testing and production environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and build Appian components, focusing mainly on Interfaces and Process Models, while following approved Functional Requirement Documents and established best practices.
- Implement integrations with external systems by leveraging Web APIs, Integration Objects, and Web Services.
- Work on Appian integration projects involving platforms such as SharePoint, SAP, Salesforce, and Robotic Process Automation (RPA).
- Write and optimize SQL queries and functions to support application needs.
- Create and maintain detailed documentation for developed solutions, including technical specifications and user manuals.
- Deploy solutions using Bitbucket and Git version control systems.
- Participate actively in code reviews to ensure high code quality and adherence to coding standards.
- Provide timely technical support during UAT and production phases by resolving change requests and defect logs reported via JIRA.
- Lead governance and enforcement of Appian best practices aligned with client sponsorship.
