Role Summary
The company is seeking an experienced Apparel Designer to join its in-house creative team. This role suits someone with strong apparel product development and graphic design capability, plus a collaborative working style. You will contribute to trend-led commercial ranges that appeal to customers and support the business’s apparel category.
What You Will Do
- Create apparel product concepts and graphics for seasonal ranges.
- Identify emerging trends in key items, colours, fabrics, details, and products to shape upcoming launches.
- Work closely with buying and sourcing teams to build unified and commercially strong ranges.
- Use market research and trend analysis to guide design decisions and refine product direction.
Experience and Technical Requirements
The ideal candidate is customer-focused, adaptable, and comfortable working in a busy retail setting with changing priorities and tight deadlines. You should bring solid design experience from concept through to finished product, with the ability to contribute creatively while keeping commercial needs in mind.
- Intermediate to senior-level design experience, including full product development from concept to execution.
- Experience in Activewear and Menswear is highly advantageous.
- Strong creative skills in graphics and textile design.
- Experience designing for a commercial retail environment.
- Advanced ability with Adobe Creative Suite, especially Illustrator and Photoshop.
