Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day functions of a 320-unit traditional apartment community effectively.
- Guide and develop onsite staff through focused coaching, comprehensive training, and performance oversight.
- Provide regular reporting on financial performance, budget adherence, occupancy levels, and leasing outcomes.
- Oversee rent collection processes, handle delinquencies, and keep operating expenses under control.
- Address and resolve resident complaints, disturbances, and violations with professionalism.
- Enhance leasing success by implementing robust sales and marketing initiatives.
- Perform scheduled property inspections including vacant unit assessments and community walkthroughs.
- Maintain precise records, ensure compliance with company policies, and uphold strong organizational procedures.
- Deliver outstanding customer service while maintaining high community standards.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- At least two years' hands-on experience as an apartment property manager, with a track record in leading onsite teams.
- Demonstrated stable employment history.
- Effective leadership, mentorship, and team performance management capabilities.
- Proficiency in sales, marketing, and customer relations.
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Background managing conventional communities of 200 or more units.
- Bilingual abilities in English and Spanish are advantageous but not mandatory.
- Valid driver’s license and dependable transportation are required.
- Applicants must reside within 20 miles of the property location or be willing to relocate.
