Job Overview
As an Analytics Lead at Google, you will serve as a critical link between data insights and business strategies within the Large Customer Sales (LCS) division. This role involves partnering with leading advertisers to optimize their marketing through advanced measurement and analytics methods, enhancing the return on investment of advertising expenditures.
Key Duties
- Collaborate with Google's sales teams to oversee strategic partnerships with enterprise clients, utilizing measurement and learning agendas to boost business results.
- Handle a complex network of relationships involving agencies, brands, and internal teams to promote the adoption of Google's measurement goals.
- Develop and implement comprehensive custom analyses and advertising effectiveness evaluations to assess marketing impacts across various platforms and media channels.
- Work closely with Product and Research & Development teams to propose features for upcoming Google tools and lead pilot programs for early-stage products, demonstrating their value.
- Contribute to industry education by authoring white papers on advancements in direct response and performance marketing, translating complex data insights into actionable narratives suitable for diverse audiences including data scientists and executives.
Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree or equivalent hands-on experience is required.
- At least 5 years of professional experience encompassing media analytics, advertising sales, digital marketing, consulting, or financial analysis.
- Proficiency in measurement methodologies such as A/B testing, causal inference, randomized controlled trials, geo experiments, marketing mix modeling, or multi-touch attribution.
- Competence in data querying and analysis with tools like SQL, Python, or R.
Preferred Experience
- Minimum 1 year of expertise in marketing measurement techniques and familiarity with Google advertising products including Google Ads, Google Analytics, and Google Marketing Platform.
- At least 1 year of experience working directly with clients with demonstrated influence across organizational levels.
- Knowledge of SQL databases and automation methods like dashboards, custom report automation, and table materialization.
- Strong capability to analyze voluminous datasets and translate them into engaging, logically structured insights.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to convey clear and impactful stories at all organizational tiers.

Applicants may select preferred work locations between Gurugram, Haryana, India and Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.
