About the Role

SpaceXAI's Safety Team is committed to protecting users' voices while balancing safety risks both on and off the platform through policy enforcement that fosters trust. As part of the Law Enforcement Response Team within Safety, you will manage global information requests, ensuring their accurate and efficient processing, while upholding user privacy and freedom of expression. This role demands a detail-oriented, collaborative, and adaptable professional who excels in a dynamic setting and prioritizes high-quality delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage global legal information requests by handling document intake, processing, and tracking, emphasizing accuracy and promptness, with initial focus on EMEA cases.
  • Work jointly with Law Enforcement Response Team colleagues in the U.S., EMEA, and Singapore to prioritize requests and standardize operational approaches.
  • Continuously refine processes to boost efficiency and consistency in managing legal inquiries.
  • Participate in on-call rotations, collaborating with the Safety Team to respond promptly to urgent requests worldwide.
  • Detect anomalies or atypical patterns in requests and escalate unclear policy-related issues appropriately.
  • Maintain clear, comprehensive, and regular communication with team members and cross-functional groups to enhance team productivity and outcomes.
  • Consistently deliver high-quality results on repetitive tasks while juggling multiple priorities within a fast-paced environment.
  • Take full ownership of projects from initiation through completion, emphasizing detailed organization.

Required Qualifications

  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
  • Excellent communication and writing abilities.
  • Working knowledge of Japanese for reviewing legal documentation is mandatory.
  • Experience handling user information requests, legal documents, or relevant legal education background.
  • Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail, with proficiency in task prioritization amid changing demands.
  • Able to maintain quality and consistency in executing repetitive tasks.
  • Passion for safeguarding user privacy and freedom of expression.
  • Collaborative attitude combined with determination, perseverance, and proactive problem-solving capabilities.
  • Comfortable addressing ambiguous policy escalations and capable of making well-informed decisions.
  • Willingness to work weekend shifts with schedules such as Tuesday–Saturday or Sunday–Thursday, potentially starting as early as 6am or ending as late as 8pm, with prior notice.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Over one year of experience in Safety or Legal Operations within a technology company or related legal roles like paralegal or litigation support.
  • Familiarity with European Law Enforcement Response Team workflows.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education/experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify anomalies or irregular patterns in data or requests.
  • Strong ownership mentality, positive outlook, and enthusiasm for solving complex issues in dynamic environments.
