Role Overview

The Analyst is tasked with precisely analyzing and classifying assigned websites, products, and merchants using open-source intelligence, proprietary systems, and industry-standard approaches to spot potential risks and compliance issues. Working in a high-paced environment, the Analyst must effectively prioritize multiple tasks and meet stringent deadlines, directly impacting LegitScript's mission to secure the online payment landscape.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform thorough analysis and classification of certification applicants through open-source research, proprietary tools, and contextual data interpretation.
• Utilize necessary tools and resources to consistently achieve program objectives.
• Make swift and accurate analytical decisions despite ambiguous information.
• Document analytical findings clearly and concisely in reports.
• Submit reports punctually in alignment with program standards.
• Escalate queries appropriately to colleagues using sound judgment.
• Support projects and tasks as assigned by management.
• Help maintain program documentation under guidance from senior personnel.
• Adopt a growth mindset by welcoming feedback and viewing change as an opportunity.
• Conduct background research on applicants, assess website content and compliance to evaluate certification eligibility.
• Communicate regularly with clients via email, phone, or video conferencing in coordination with management.
• Track billing and payment statuses and escalate issues internally when necessary.
