Overview
We are seeking a skilled Aluminium Welder to join a reputable workshop specializing in the construction of truck trays and trailers. Located in the South Eastern suburbs of Melbourne, this position involves day shift work in a thriving environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform MIG welding on aluminium components
- Carry out MIG welding on mild steel materials
- Interpret and set out workshop and engineering drawings to ensure precise fabrication
- Work independently without supervision
- Apply mechanical aptitude to troubleshooting and assembly tasks
Candidate Requirements
- Demonstrable experience in MIG welding aluminium and mild steel
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings accurately
- Boilermaker or Fabricator trade certification
- Must be currently residing in Melbourne, Victoria
- Right to work legally in Australia
- Provide references from two previous employers
