About the Organization

The Republic of Singapore Air Force (RSAF) is Singapore’s frontline air arm, committed to protecting the nation and its interests. Role Overview

This is an adventurous aircrew role for candidates who want a dynamic career in aviation. The position involves hands-on mission support such as helicopter rappelling and aerial refuelling, and it sits under the Enhanced Warrant Officers Scheme (EWOS).

Key Responsibilities

You will oversee loading and unloading activities for a range of air operations, and may also take on leadership duties as you progress to supervisory responsibilities.

  • Plan, coordinate, and carry out loading and unloading tasks for passenger and cargo ferry flights.
  • Support maritime aerial surveillance missions.
  • Assist with aerial refuelling operations.
  • Participate in para-trooping missions.
  • Contribute to search and rescue deployments.
  • Assist with casualty evacuation (CASEVAC) missions.
  • Support heliborne operations.
  • Serve in loadmaster-related duties.
  • At supervisory level, guide, instruct, and manage the aircrew specialists assigned under your charge.

Qualifications and Entry Requirements

Applicants should hold a diploma, NITEC, or Higher NITEC qualification. Candidates must also meet the stated medical and fitness criteria, including eyesight and astigmatism limits, as well as PES classification requirements.

Additional Requirements

  • Eyesight must be better than 500 degrees per eye.
  • Astigmatism must be below 200 degrees per eye.
  • Medical status must be PES A or PES B1.
