Aircraft Mechanic - Fluid Analysis

Role Overview

This position is for an Aircraft Mechanic specializing in Fluid Analysis, stationed in Doha, Qatar. The role involves performing analysis on aircraft hydraulic fluids and engine oils to meet operational demands as directed by supervisors or engineers. All maintenance tasks and activities must comply with the organization's and customers' procedural guidelines as well as authoritative maintenance data including Aircraft Maintenance Manuals (AMM) and manufacturer directives.

Primary Responsibilities

• Operate various laboratory testing equipment such as Inductively Coupled Plasma (ICP) analyzers, particle counters, and titration apparatus to assess aircraft hydraulic and oil samples.
• Maintain comprehensive knowledge of ISO 17025 laboratory quality standards and apply them in daily operations.
• Strictly observe safety protocols and operational guidelines as stipulated by manufacturers during all testing and maintenance activities.
• Understand and execute tasks based on aircraft maintenance instructions and technical data.
• Perform repairs adhering to applicable maintenance instructions and airworthiness regulations.
• Study and interpret aircraft maintenance manuals and specifications to evaluate the repair or replacement options for malfunctioning or damaged components.

Candidate Profile and Qualifications

• Possess at minimum a High School diploma, Vocational qualification, or equivalent diploma with at least 3 years of relevant experience, or a Bachelor's degree or equivalent with 2 years of job-related experience.
• Hold minimum five years of certifying experience in aircraft maintenance.
• Have a degree or equivalent diploma/license specific to Aircraft Maintenance.
• Possess a basic ICAO Type II license.
• Hold relevant trade certificates and have completed trade-related reinforcement training.
• Have at least one year of practical experience in a technical environment performing similar work, preferably in a recognized airline workshop.
• Possess recognized aeronautical or technical training certifications.
