Role Overview
As an AI Advisory Manager in the Artificial Intelligence & Data team, you will partner with experienced consultants, Directors, and Partners to help solve complex client and national business problems. The role focuses on working with senior stakeholders across diverse organisations to shape strategy through AI, improve performance, and deliver measurable value.
What You’ll Do
You will lead day-to-day engagement delivery, guide project workstreams, support junior team members, and help clients turn AI opportunities into practical outcomes. The role also involves developing trusted client relationships, building thought leadership, spotting new opportunities, and contributing to additional client work.
Key Experience and Capabilities
- Hands-on experience leading AI and data strategy work, including roadmap development, execution, and operating model design and implementation, ideally within consulting, advisory, or the public sector.
- Practical knowledge of designing and putting in place AI and data governance functions.
- Strong understanding of AI, data management, governance, and current best practices.
- Experience defining high-value business use cases that align with strategic priorities.
- Ability to connect business problems with the right people, process, data, and technology capabilities, while advising on emerging AI trends and tools.
- Strong analytical ability to identify root causes, develop clear recommendations, and support change.
- Confident communicator who can explain complex ideas clearly and adapt communication style to different audiences.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams to address client challenges.
- Genuine enthusiasm for AI and commitment to ongoing learning as the field evolves.
- Experience mentoring and developing diverse teams in an inclusive environment.
