AI Adoption Strategist

Overview

The organisation is looking for a sharp, commercially oriented AI strategist to partner directly with the Founder across a varied set of businesses and new ventures. The portfolio spans luxury travel, hospitality, membership clubs, leisure, sports, and consumer services.

This role is not focused on AI engineering, data science, or IT support. Instead, it calls for someone who can spot practical opportunities, shape the right solutions, and put AI to work in ways that generate measurable business outcomes. The remit includes helping define AI direction for both established operations and early-stage ventures.

The role will contribute to uncovering where artificial intelligence, autonomous agents, automation, and other emerging technologies can strengthen customer experiences, improve how the businesses run, speed up growth, and enable entirely new AI-based products and ventures.

Responsibilities

• Create and roll out AI strategies across several businesses and venture ideas.
• Find high-value opportunities where AI can lift revenue, efficiency, and customer engagement.
• Develop and implement AI solutions such as autonomous agents, smart workflows, and customer-facing AI products.
• Work closely with the Founder to assess, prioritise, and launch new AI-driven business opportunities.
• Lead proof-of-concepts, pilots, and scalable implementations from concept through delivery.
• Review new technologies, platforms, and vendors to ensure they align with the wider strategy and strengthen competitive position.
• Support innovation across marketing, sales, acquisition, operations, and service delivery.
• Turn complex AI ideas into clear business opportunities and practical initiatives.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders, outside partners, and technology providers to deliver projects successfully.
• Create responsible-use frameworks, processes, and governance for AI adoption.

Ideal Candidate

The right person will have a solid grasp of AI technologies and how they can be applied commercially. They should have hands-on experience building and executing AI-led business initiatives, along with an entrepreneurial outlook suited to startup, founder-led, or fast-growing environments.

They will need to identify market opportunities and turn ideas into scalable products or services, show strong commercial judgement, and think strategically. Clear communication is essential, along with the ability to influence stakeholders at different levels. Comfort working across strategy, innovation, product development, and execution is important, as is enthusiasm for emerging technologies and continuous learning.

Preferred Background

• Experience in hospitality, luxury travel, leisure, membership businesses, consumer services, or similar sectors.
• Exposure to AI product development, automation platforms, and agentic AI frameworks.
• Track record of launching new products, ventures, or digital businesses.
• Consulting, innovation, venture-building, or transformation experience would be an advantage.
