Job description
Role Overview
Bees & Bears is looking for an AI Adoption Lead to take ownership of internal AI enablement and adoption after the consulting phase ends in mid-July. The role is based in the Berlin metropolitan area and focuses on building practical AI usage across the company, supporting teams with tailored workflows, and ensuring the organisation uses AI responsibly and effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, run, and improve the internal AI training programme, including onboarding for new employees, team-specific workshops, and follow-up sessions with team leads so adoption continues after training.
- Act as the main internal contact for AI adoption once the consulting support ends in mid-July, handling questions, blockers, and escalations from departments.
- Keep the data governance framework up to date as tools and use cases evolve, making sure it remains practical and aligned with company policy.
- Lead internal communication around AI and help drive the culture change needed for meaningful adoption across the business.
- Work closely with leads from Customer Support, Partner Management, Risk, Finance, Sales, and Product to build function-specific Claude Teams skills and prompt libraries.
- Continuously identify new AI and automation opportunities and submit the most valuable ideas into the Applied AI Lead’s delivery pipeline.
- Monitor adoption performance and prepare reports on usage, blockers, and successes to guide priorities and show business impact.
- Enforce the rule that private AI accounts are not allowed and actively watch for shadow AI risks across the organisation.
What You Bring
- At least 3 years of experience working with automation tools, APIs, and AI-based workflows.
- Practical experience with tools such as n8n, Make, Zapier, or similar automation platforms.
- Experience creating solutions with large language models, AI agents, or AI-enabled workflows.
- A strong record of delivering automation or AI initiatives in operational environments.
- Solid project management capability with end-to-end ownership of complex workstreams.
- Good understanding of APIs, integrations, and basic system architecture.
- A hands-on, outcome-oriented working style with a focus on speed, practicality, and measurable impact.
- Comfort working across functions and bringing structure to ambiguous situations.
- Bonus: prior experience in fintech or financial operations, especially in compliance or security-related workflows.
What the Company Offers
- A fast-moving environment where the team is building many things from scratch and learning constantly.
- Strong ownership, real team spirit, and the chance to help create something meaningful.
- Direct impact on the energy transition through your work.
- Additional time off for climate activism.
- A trust-based hybrid working model with home working as the norm.
- Two days per week are standard and flexible, with the rest arranged to suit collaboration and focus.
- Option to work from other locations when it suits you and your team, including workations.
- A flexible bonus that can be used for sports, culture, travel, or other personal preferences.
- Food support in the office through Wolt when the office is running.
- Team offsites, team evenings, and social gatherings such as “Bees & Beers.”
