Role Description
The position within Student Business Services focuses on producing accurate and timely class and examination timetables for each academic semester, which occurs three times annually. The Advisor and Data Analyst will engage in detailed data analysis and interpretation of course details to develop efficient schedules. Additionally, this role involves advising students during class registration and addressing inquiries from both students and staff related to timetabling and registrations.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate within the Timetabling & Examinations team to produce class and exam timetables each semester.
- Provide expert advice and support to students and staff regarding timetable-related queries and class registration procedures.
- Analyze and interpret course and enrolment data to optimize scheduling efficiency.
- Continuously review processes to identify opportunities for improvement in service delivery.
Candidate Profile
- Possess a university degree from a recognized institution.
- Have knowledge of timetabling, student registration, and management systems.
- Demonstrate strong organizational skills with excellent time management and problem-solving abilities.
- Exhibit a keen attention to detail and high-level analytical capabilities.
- Be proficient in database tools and student management software.
- Build effective relationships across diverse internal and external stakeholders.
- Maintain a strong work ethic and confidence in managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
Salary and Benefits
- Starting salary of $85,707.07 per year plus 12% superannuation based on a 36.75-hour workweek.
