Job description
About Netflix
Netflix’s purpose is to entertain audiences everywhere. The company is continuing to expand its advertising business and is building an ads organization designed to be a leading platform for advertiser partners while generating meaningful advertising revenue. The Ads Business Planning & Operations function is central to how this business is planned, measured, and run.
Role Overview
In this associate-level role, you will help turn business strategy into practical plans, metrics, and operating processes that help the Ads organization move faster and operate more effectively. You will collaborate across regions and teams to support growth, improve execution, and give leaders the structure and insight they need to make stronger decisions. This position suits someone who is analytical, well-organized, and comfortable partnering with senior stakeholders in a fast-moving global environment.
What You Will Do
- Help manage organization-wide goals and key results, track progress, and communicate outcomes clearly so teams stay focused on the highest-impact priorities.
- Support the company’s planning and review cadence by coordinating leadership meetings, business rhythms, and milestone check-ins that strengthen alignment and accountability.
- Serve as a bridge between regions and functions by moving information efficiently, sharing effective practices, and helping successful initiatives scale across markets.
- Back high-priority cross-functional work that improves operations and supports broader business change, while helping teams adopt new ways of working successfully.
- Contribute to strategic programs and projects by removing obstacles, keeping stakeholders aligned, and helping initiatives deliver on time and to the expected standard.
What We’re Looking For
- 4 to 6 years of experience in strategy, business operations, consulting, sales operations, or a closely related field.
- Strong comfort with data analysis, dashboard creation, and turning numbers into clear takeaways and recommendations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare concise documents and presentations for senior leaders.
- A strong sense of organization, an action-oriented mindset, and the ability to juggle several projects and stakeholders at once.
- Ease working through ambiguity and change, with the ability to frame unclear problems and keep work moving independently.
- Curiosity and a quick learning curve, along with the ability to investigate issues without close supervision.
Compensation
The compensation model is based on annual salary only, with no bonuses. Employees can choose each year how much of their pay is allocated to salary versus stock options. The salary range for this position is $155,000 to $240,000.
Benefits
- Health plans and mental health support
- 401(k) retirement plan with employer match
- Stock option program
- Disability coverage
- Health savings accounts and flexible spending accounts
- Family-forming benefits
- Life and serious injury benefits
- Paid leave of absence programs
- For full-time hourly employees: 35 days of paid time off each year, covering vacation, holidays, and sick time
- For full-time salaried employees: flexible time off available immediately
