Role Overview

This full-time, on-site Administrative Assistant position located in the Greater Stoke-on-Trent Area provides critical support for smooth daily office functions. Responsibilities include managing calendars, scheduling appointments, organizing and maintaining documentation, and ensuring accurate record-keeping. The role also involves handling telephone and email communications, welcoming visitors, composing correspondence and reports, and assisting with basic bookkeeping and data entry tasks. Additionally, the Assistant will aid executives by arranging travel, coordinating meeting logistics, and facilitating follow-up activities to guarantee timely completion of assignments. The ideal candidate is detail-focused, highly organized, capable of prioritizing multiple duties, maintaining confidentiality, and delivering dependable administrative support to the team.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Proficiency in administrative and clerical functions such as scheduling, filing, document preparation, and data entry.
  • Effective telephone etiquette and communication skills for managing calls, emails, and in-person inquiries professionally.
  • Experience with executive-level administrative tasks including calendar management, meeting coordination, and travel planning.
  • Familiarity with standard office technology including word processing, spreadsheets, email, and calendar applications.
  • Previous experience in office support roles demonstrating strong organizational abilities, reliability, and the capacity to work independently as well as collaboratively.
  • Exposure to mission-driven or nonprofit environments, basic project coordination experience, and a genuine interest in human rights or social impact causes is advantageous.
