Job description

Overview

The Admin Manager will be responsible for overseeing comprehensive administrative and facilities functions across office, plant, and employee-related environments within Mahindra and Mahindra Limited's Automotive and Farm Equipment Business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day administrative operations ensuring smooth office infrastructure, seating arrangements, utilities, guest houses, cafeterias, and shared facilities are well maintained.
  • Supervise housekeeping, horticulture, pest control, and general upkeep to maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety, and employee comfort.
  • Handle vendor relations including service providers and AMC contracts by leading negotiations, reviewing service levels, monitoring performance, and optimizing costs.
  • Ensure prompt validation and processing of vendor invoices and payments.
  • Coordinate employee services such as travel, accommodation, transportation, guest house management, and onboarding support for new hires.
  • Support employee engagement initiatives by providing administrative assistance during company events and town halls.
  • Collaborate with security teams to enforce access control and ensure employee safety, and connect with local authorities and statutory bodies as necessary.
  • Ensure full compliance with organizational standards including safety, Environmental Management System (EMS), Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) policies.
  • Assist with office expansion, workplace modernization, efficient space utilization, infrastructure upgrades, renovation, and maintenance projects.
  • Develop and manage annual administration budgets, monitor capital and operating expenses, and spearhead cost-saving efforts while maintaining service quality.
