The managing partners have a history of leading significant real estate transactions, with an aggregate asset value exceeding $20 billion. The firm is currently deploying capital from its fourth opportunistic fund, concentrating on residential and hospitality sectors in Sunbelt and Mountain West markets. The new hire will be crucial in deploying capital for this fund.

Role Description

Cross Lake is seeking to hire an Analyst or Associate for its acquisitions team. The specific title will be determined by the candidate's relevant work experience. This role offers comprehensive exposure to all facets of the investment process within a lean acquisitions team, providing direct insight into all business operations.

Responsibilities

• Support the evaluation of potential investment opportunities, including participating in meetings with operating partners and conducting site visits for new prospects.
• Develop underwriting models and compile market research summaries for investment committee presentations.
• Spearhead and manage the due diligence process for potential acquisitions, encompassing financial, legal, and market analyses.
• Contribute to the management of current investments, which involves monitoring market performance, overseeing refinancings, and facilitating asset dispositions.
• Prepare materials for investor reporting and presentations, including fund performance updates and detailed summaries of individual deals.

Qualifications

• 1 to 3 years of professional experience, ideally within Investment Banking or Private Equity.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Prior experience in real estate is advantageous.
• Demonstrated ability to be a self-starter, comfortable in a lean, high-paced setting with substantial individual accountability.

Compensation

The base salary range is between $100,000 and $200,000, contingent upon previous work experience. The total compensation package also includes a discretionary annual bonus and a benefits package.
