Job description
Job Purpose
As an Acquisition Associate, you will take charge of spotting promising real estate development opportunities before they become widely known. The role combines field-based scouting with digital and government-source research to uncover projects at different stages of progress. You will then organise, verify, and continuously maintain this information in a central dashboard so the Business Development team can rely on it for early opportunity screening and strategic planning.
Key Responsibilities
- Visit project locations in person to identify new, pre-launch, and under-construction real estate developments.
- Speak with site staff, brokers, and sales teams to collect essential project details and developer contact information.
- Track visual clues such as hoardings, signage, and on-site activity to surface opportunities in target areas.
- Review real estate platforms, online sources, and government portals such as Balady, WAFI, and municipal websites to find newly approved projects.
- Capture approval status, licence details, developer registration information, and project milestones from these sources.
- Compile project data including location, plot size, developer name, construction stage, and relevant contacts.
- Enter and format the collected information in a standard structure within the central business development dashboard.
- Keep the internal database current with verified and timestamped records for every identified project.
- Sort entries by project stage, geography, and developer profile for easier analysis and tracking.
- Work with Relationship Managers to confirm project information before commercial engagement begins.
- Share field findings to help shape negotiation approach, feasibility review, and project prioritisation.
- Serve as the first checkpoint for new business leads by continually monitoring fresh opportunities.
- Send timely alerts for projects in high-demand corridors, newly launched phases, or government-backed zones.
Requirements
- A graduate degree in business, finance, or economics is required; a BBA is preferred.
- At least 3 years of experience in a similar role within the same industry.
- Strong familiarity with the KSA real estate market and upcoming developments is a strong advantage.
- Solid understanding of real estate terminology, project phases such as pre-launch, under construction, and completed, and general market behaviour.
- Ability to gather information effectively from field visits, online sources, and government systems.
- Capability to organise, standardise, and manage large datasets in a digital dashboard environment.
- Comfort using real estate portals, regulatory websites, online tools, and internal dashboards.
- High accuracy and attention to detail when collecting and entering data.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to coordinate with external and internal stakeholders.
- A self-driven, business-oriented, strategic, and proactive working style.
- Ability to independently scout for new projects through both physical and digital channels.
Benefits
- Fast-moving and high-performance work culture
- Comprehensive health insurance coverage
- Rewards and recognition programs
- Learning and development opportunities
