  • Use ADDIE or a similar instructional design framework to develop structured, results-focused learning programmes.
  • Build blended learning solutions that combine e-learning, classroom instruction, and workplace-based assessment.
  • Adapt course content to reflect Singapore’s regulatory landscape, industry needs, and workforce trends.

Training Facilitation and Delivery

  • Run engaging and inclusive adult learning sessions for varied learner groups, including PMETs, frontline staff, and mid-career professionals.
  • Apply adult learning principles to foster a supportive and interactive learning environment.
  • Handle classroom dynamics effectively and adjust facilitation methods to suit different learning preferences and needs.
  • Deliver both face-to-face and virtual sessions using tools such as Zoom, Microsoft Teams, and Mentimeter.

Assessment and Evaluation

  • Develop and administer competency-based assessments in line with SSG and IAL standards.
  • Perform assessor duties covering written, oral, and workplace performance assessments.
  • Review learner feedback, assessment outcomes, and post-training data to improve programme quality.
  • Keep training documentation and records accurate and compliant with WDA/SSG audit requirements.

Qualifications and Certifications

  • Full ACLP certification, including Modules 1, 2, and 3, issued by the Institute for Adult Learning, Singapore, is mandatory.
  • Registration under the Singapore Workforce Skills Qualifications framework as both a certified trainer and assessor is required.
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in industry or training within the subject area is needed.
  • Experience delivering SSG-funded programmes will be considered a strong advantage.
  • A diploma or bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is preferred, with additional qualifications in Instructional Design, Education, or HRD.

Core Competencies

  • Ability to simplify complex topics into practical and easy-to-understand learning content.
  • Professionalism, integrity, and a clear commitment to learner success.
  • Working knowledge of SkillsFuture course structures, WSQ competency standards, and Training Quality System requirements.
