About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join our dynamic Accounts Payable team at Renuity. This role involves managing a variety of payable functions such as invoice processing, purchase order matching, vendor relationship management, as well as reimbursement and refund handling within a fast-paced home improvement business environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately and promptly process purchase order (PO) invoices
  • Manage non-PO invoice processing, ensuring correct coding and necessary approvals
  • Carry out payment processing aligned with company policies
  • Maintain and nurture vendor relationships, including onboarding, addressing inquiries, and resolving issues
  • Perform reconciliations of vendor statements to verify account accuracy
  • Handle expense management by reviewing and validating submitted expense reports
  • Conduct internal account reconciliations to detect and correct discrepancies
  • Support audit processes by preparing required documentation and responding to audit inquiries

Qualifications and Skills

  • Previous experience in an Accounts Payable role, ideally within a shared services setup
  • Strong knowledge of three-way matching processes involving PO, receipt, and invoice, especially related to inventory AP transactions
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with ERP systems and accounts payable software tools for expense reimbursement and invoice workflows
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize effectively under tight deadlines in a fast-moving environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal capabilities to collaborate efficiently with vendors and internal teams
  • High attention to detail paired with robust problem-solving skills
  • A proactive attitude toward process enhancement focusing on accuracy and operational efficiency
